COVID-19 Restaurant Support

This website was created to support the restaurant industry by providing free guidance, operating systems, and materials to help restaurants reopen their doors after the COVID-19 shutdown.

We are all in this together as we attempt to navigate this devastating time in our industry. We understand the challenges to keep up with new restrictions and regulations, creating new operating procedures, and reopening your restaurant.

These resources will help you ensure compliance with regulations and ease of communication with your customers – encouraging them to feel comfortable dining out again. We understand the frustration and sadness that have come with these uncertain times, and we hope that these resources can provide a helping hand.

Policies & Procedures Support

With the eagerly anticipated reopening of your restaurant, it’s imperative to actively prepare for operations and marketing upon reopening your doors. Restaurant owners are currently navigating state ordered limitations on how to operate, including reduced seating capacity, minimum distance requirements between tables, mandated staff temperature checks, etc.

Other than maintaining health and safety requirements, you want guests to feel at ease as they begin to dine out again. Guests want reassurance that the front of the house and back of the house are doing everything they can to keep guests safe. It’s important for restaurants to create and promote their new health and sanitation policies and procedures.

Let us help you…

Menu Support

Regulations are requiring restaurants to rethink how to present menus to customers. Menus must be disposable after a single use, displayed or electronically viewed on each customer’s cellular device. We strongly advocate for the latter and want to help restaurants setup QR code online menus.

If you already have a menu online, consider displaying a QR code in places where customers can easily scan to see your menu. You can generate and download a QR code for free at several websites, including goqr.me and flowcode. This is an excellent way to go green and take advantage of the technology available to us today.

Even if you don’t currently have a menu online, it’s an easy process to put one up, and we can help you with that.

If you’ll still require printed menus, we have a good source for affordable printing, and would be happy to help facilitate printing disposable menus for you.

Signage

Signage plays a crucial role in communicating important procedures to help keep diners and your team safe. It’s important that restaurants follow CDC and local government guidelines without intimidating guests. We have developed sign designs that are simple and straightforward, and will help communicate the various procedures required due to Covid-19. We are pleased to offer our signs to download for free.
